Day 1:
Arrive Entebbe - Ngamba Chimpanzee IslandArrive to Entebbe, Uganda, where you are met and escorted to your hotel. Afternoon excursion to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (time permitting).

Day 2:
Entebbe / Lake Mburo National ParkMorning departure to Lake Mburo National Park. Here you choose to on a walk with a local guide, a boat trip or a game drive in search of zebra, leopard, various antelope and hippo - as well as prolific birdlife. (BLD)

Day 3:
Lake Mburo Nationalo Park / Bwindi Impenetrable National ParkToday we drive to Bwindi. (BLD)

Day 4:
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Gorilla TrekkingAn early morning trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, led by experienced trackers will bring you amongst a family of Mountain Gorillas. You will get within feet of the family and be privileged to spend time amongst them. Return to the lodge for a late lunch, with an opportunity for a forest walk with the guides. (BLD) Please note: Trekking and overnight may take place in Rwanda.

Day 5:
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park / Queen Elizabeth National ParkToday, those who have opted for two gorilla treks (additional cost), will set off once again into the forest. Those not gorilla trekking will be able to go on a forest walk in Bwindi looking for birds and primates with a local knowledgeable guide, or go on a local community village walk. Afternoon travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We stop and visit a local community project en route. (BLD) (NOTE - overnight may be spent in Bwindi, traveling to QENP the next morning)

Day 6:
Queen Elizabeth National ParkMorning and afternoon game drives. (BLD)

Day 7:
Queen Elizbabeth National ParkFull day Game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park, including a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel and Chimpanzee Trek in Chamburu Gorge. (BLD)

Day 8:
Queen Elizabeth National Park / Depart EntebbeReturn to Entebbe arriving late afternoon. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight (after 8pm), or choose to extend your stay in Entebbe or an overnight on Ngamba Island. (BL) –
