1 Day 1: Arrive Lusaka / Mfuwe / South Luangwa National Park

Arrive to Lusaka, Zambia where you are met and assisted to connect with flight to Mfuwe. Transfer to your lodge nestled between two picturesque lagoons in the heart of South Luangwa National Park for a 2 night stay. Afternoon game drive. (D)

2 Day 2: South Luangwa National Park

In between game drives, walks and mouth watering meals, relax with a book on the library’s private deck, an ideal spot to take in the tranquility of Africa. The Luangwa river is the most intact major river system in Africa and is the life blood of the South Luangwa National Park. The now famous “walking safari” originated in this park and is still one of the finest ways to experience this pristine wilderness first hand. (BLD)

3-5 Day 3-5: South Luangwa National Park – Bush Camp

Transfer by road to your bush camp situated in the heart of the South Luangwa National Park for a 3 night stay. Avid game viewers and birdwatchers can set out on superb walking safaris, game drives, night drives and scenic sundowner trips in the surrounding area. (BLD)

6 Day 6: South Luangwa National Park / Lower Zambezi National Park

After the morning activity, transfer to Mfuwe Airport. Scheduled flight from Mfuwe to Royal Airstrip at the Lower Zambezi National Park traveling via Lusaka. Arrive and transfer to your tented camp for a 3 night stay. Our camp is nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Chiawa Game Management area - this is the only stretch on the course of the Zambezi River where one finds National Parks on both banks of the river: the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and the famed Mana Pools World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe. 7-8 Day 7-8: Lower Zambezi National Park

Enjoy two full days with morning and afternoon wildlife viewing on game drives and by boat safaris on magnificent Zambezi River. Fishing safari expeditions, walking safaris and canoeing trips are also available. The park is still relatively undeveloped, but its beauty lies in its absolute wilderness state. The diversity of animals is not as wide as the other big parks, but the opportunities to get close to game wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular. (BLD)

9 Day 9: Lower Zambezi National Park / Livingstone

Morning transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Livignstone via Lusaka. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge situated on the banks of the Zambezi River just outside Livingstone. A floating pontoon gently sways on the Zambezi River, making it the perfect location for sundowners, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the view. (BLD)

10 Day 10: Livingstone

Enjoy your choice of two activities today. Options include a tour of the Victoria Falls, sunset cruise, daytime cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding, guided village walk and guided tour of the town and local markets. (BLD)

11 Day 11: Depart Livingstone

Time permitting, enjoy a morning activity. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
