1 Day 1:

Arrive Tel AvivArrive to Tel Aviv, Israel, where you are met and escorted to your hotel.

2 Day 2:

Tel Aviv - City SightseeingEnjoy a tour of Tel Aviv and its environs today. See the World Heritage Site: The 'White City.' Explore the different faces, walking through Shenkin Street, the vibrant Levantine Carmel Market and the famous Flea Market. Continue to Old Jaffa, with its ancient port and home to biblical tales. Onward to Neve Zedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv. (B)

3 Day 3:

Tel Aviv / Caesarea / Hifa / Akko / Sea of GalileeVisit Tel Beer Sheva a city dating back to the 10th century BCE. Stop at Mashabe Sadeh Agriculture R&D Center. The desert region has been transformed into a sea of green, thanks to the wonders of modern technology and Israeli ingenuity. Then ascend to the ancient city of Avdat, once a Nabatean strong-hold on the Spice Route from the Orient to Europe. Later stop at the gravesite of David Ben Gurion. (BD)

4 Day 4:

Sea of Galilee - Golan Heights, Safed, Mount Beatitudes, CapernaumStart our day with an exciting tour of the Golan Heights and learn the strategic importance and history of the land. Visit the Mystical City of Safed, then tour one of the wineries in the region. On to Mount Beatitudes, north of the Seat of Galilee, where we enjoy a magnificent view. Also visit Capernaum, to view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. (BD)

5 Day 5:

Sea of Galilee / Nazareth / Beit Alpha / Sachne / JerusalemMorning departure for Nazareth to tour the Basilica of the Annunciation. Inhale the scents, sights, sounds and tastes of the Middle East during a visit to a local spice shop. See the famous zodiac mosaic floor in the ancient syna-gogue at Beit Alpha. Continue to Sachne, a fresh water spring, for a refreshing swim before we drive south to Jerusalem. (B)

6 Day 6: 

Jerusalem - City SightseeingEnjoy a spectacular view of Jerusalem from atop the Mount of Olives. View the Temple Mount, sacred to Jews, Muslims and Christians. Today it serves as the location of the famed Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. We enter City of David and see the newest and exciting excavations of Jerusalem during the time of the first Temple period. Here we'll also walk through the New Pilgrim's Route Tunnel whish will lead to the Southern Wall Excavations. Proceed to the holiest place in Judaism today, the Western Wall - 'Kotel'. The Kotel is part of the few remaining structures of the Temple Complex built by Herod the great. Spend time at the Arab Bazaar before we walk parts of the Via Dolorosa. End with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.(B)

7 Day 7:

Jerusalem - Massada, Ein Gedi & Dead SeaDrive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada, the legendary stronghold built by Herod the Great and the heroism of the Jews who spurned the Romans and chose death over slavery. Visit Ein Gedi oasis for a nature walk to the waterfall. End the day with the chance to swim (float) in the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea. (B)

8 Day 8:

Jerusalem - Bethlehem & City SightseeingStart our day at the birthplace of Jesus when we travel into the ancient city of Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity. Visit the newly renovated Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are exhibited, and view a large model of Jerusalem as it use to look in the 2nd Temple period. End the day at Yad Vashem, considered the primary memorial and museum of the Holocaust. Take a tour of the new Holocaust History Museum, mostly underground. At the end of the museum's historical narrative is the Hall of Names, a repository of the pages of testimony of millions of Holocaust victims, and a memorial to those who perished. (B)

Jerusalem / Depart Tel AvivTransfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
