Day 1: Arrive Siem Reap
Arrive in the beautiful town of Siem Reap, the gateway to the Temples of Angkor. Transfer to your desired hotel and check-in and enjoying the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Temples Of Angkor
The day starts with a visit to Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the world and continue to Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of Khmer Empire with its centre piece: the Bayon temple via Angkor Thom with a final visit to the picturesque Ta Prohm, beautiful temple overgrown with fig trees. In the late afternoon, visit Artisans d’Angkor, an organization focusing on training unschooled rural youth in traditional handicraft skills.
Day 3: Siem Reap
Enjoy a day of leisure to explore the township of Siem Reap or simply relax in your resort.
Day 4: Chhong Kneas By Bike
Visit Chhong Kneas, Siem Reap’s most recognized floating village. Start the day with an easy bicycle ride of of 12km (7 miles) through local villages along the Siem Reap River. Board a local boat and observe a range of activities on the water. Visit the local school, the crocodile and fish farm and the biodiversity centre before disembarking to head back to Siem Reap by the afternoon.
Day 5: Siem Reap - Bangkok
Board your international flight in Siem Reap to arrive in Thailand’s capital city of Bangkok. Transfer from the airport to your chosen city hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 6: Bangkok
Experience the monks’ morning chanting ritual at Wat Po - one of the oldest temples in Bangkok and original school of traditional Thai massage, Wat Po contains the famous 45m reclining Buddha. Catch a tuk-tuk ride via Pak Klong Taland Flower Market towards The Grand Palace, enjoy a long-tailed boat ride along the “klongs” (canals) of Thonburi to get a flavour of local life. Enjoy a cup of Chinese tea while in Chinatown with the locals in an old teashop before exploring the bustling Talad Kao market before returning to the hotel in the evening.
Day 7: Chiang Mai
Upon arrival from your flight to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, enjoy lunch in town before you head to Wat Suan Dok outside the ancient city walls of Chiang Mai. Continue to Wat Chedi, an impressive temple built between the 14th and 15th centuries and others completing with a visit to Doi Suthep.
Day 8: Chiang Mai
Enjoy a day with elephants, Thailand’s most loved animal. Travel one hour north of Chiang Mai to the Chiang Dao Elephant Training Camp, passing through spectacular scenery. Enjoy an elephant ride through the jungle and visit a local ethnic minority village of the Lisu tribe. Transfer back to Chiang Mai by the afternoon to enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure to wonder through the night bazaar or try one of the many delightful restaurants within this charming city.
Day 9: Chiang Mai - Phuket
Fly this morning to Phuket – Thailand’s beach paradise and transfer to your desired resort for some time at leisure.
Day 10-13: Phuket
Enjoy some days at leisure at your desired beach resort.
Day 14: Departure
Enjoy your day at leisure until your transfer to the airport.
