1 Day 1:

Arrive HarareArrive in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, where you are met and escorted to your hotel. (D)

2 Day 2:

Eastern highlands / Great ZimbabweDepart for Masvingo, The Ancient City, and visit the Ruins of Great Zimbabwe built in 1200AD, and the most significant ancient monument south of the Sahara, second only to the Egyptian pyramids. The ruins include the Acropolis, Great Enclosure, and Conical Tower. (BD)

3 Day 3:

Great Zimbabwe / BulawayoDepart for Bulawayo, the second largest city in Zimbabwe and a legacy of Cecil John Rhodes. The city boasts many examples of early Victorian buildings. Visit the Bulawayo National Museum before checking into our hotel. (BD)

4 Day 4:

Bulawayo - Matobo National ParkMatobo Hills has long been recognized as an area of exceptional beauty with cave paintings, panoramas of the countryside at "View of the World", where Cecil Rhodes is buried. We may catch a glimpse of black rhino and plains game, but this area is famous for its dense con-centrations of birds of prey. (BLD)

5 Day 5:

Bulawayo / Hwange National ParkTravel to Hwange National Park, among Africa's havens for wildlife with herds of Presidential Elephants. It is also home to many predators and endangered species and teems with varied birdlife. Enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge, and another one later in the afternoon. After sundowners, a sumptuous dinner will be enjoyed to the sounds of the night. (BLD)

6 Day 6:

Hwange National ParkDawn breaks with a morning game drive through the vast plains. Following an afternoon siesta proceed on an evening game drive to view the nocturnal inhabitants of the Hwange National Park. (BLD)

7 Day 7:

Hwange National Park / Victoria FallsWe enjoy our last game drive and transfer out of the National Park. Visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre, and learn about more Wild Dogs and efforts to protect these ani-mals from extinction, en route to Victoria Falls. Also known as "Mosi-oa-Tunya" - the smoke that thunders, this quaint town offers a variety of activities and attractions both on land and water. This evening enjoy a sundowner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. (BD)

8 Day 8:

Victoria Falls & Village VisitToday visit a secluded and unexplored Zimbabwean Village and interact with a tra-ditional medicine healer and witness age old customs and way of life. Enjoy a tour of the mighty Victoria Falls, one of the most spec-tacular Natural Wonders of the World. Stop at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rain forest whilst witnessing the rainbows. The afternoon is at leisure, to enjoy one of many optional activities. (BD)

Depart Victoria FallsTransfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B) –
