Day 1: Arrival at Raipur - Bhoramdeo (150 Kms 03hrs drive)
Welcome to your “The Best of Chhattishgarh & Orissa” tour ! On arrival our representative will
assist at Raipur airport and transfer to Bhoramdeo Jungle Retreat. They will be treated
to a folk dance in the evening which will be followed by refreshments and dinner.

Day 2: In & around Bhoramdeo (160 Kms, 06hrs day excursion)
The Guests will first visit villages of the Gonds and
Baiga tribes with picnic lunch, and then the enchanting Bhoramdeo Temple.

Day 3: On to Kanker (220Kms, 05hrs drive)
Following a morning safari and a late breakfast our Guests will start for Kanker Palace.
They will be received at Kanker Palace with a traditional welcome. Once refreshed the Guests
will be entertained by Chhattisgarhi folk musicians over beverages and pre-dinner snacks.
Members of the royal
family will join them to share their insights into the life of the region.

Day 4: On to Jagdalpur (150Kms, 05hrs day visit)
After breakfast the Guests will be driven up the winding ghats of Keshkal for some spectacular
views of the tropical jungle below. Later they will visit the village of the Deer-Horn Muria
tribe and get a glimpse of the Ghotul System. Here one could enjoy some wonderful village food
with local toddy. Later they will get an opportunity to observe and
enjoy tribal life up-close when they will visit a tribal haat (market).
Then continue drive for Jagdalpur, the largest town and nerve center of Bastar.
Lunch would be packed and can be had in our secret spot in the jungle.
Though the three hour long journey will itself be a treasure-trove of vignettes from tribal life,
they will make a short detour midway to visit the tribal craft communities of Kondagaon.
(Bell Metal, Wrought Iron and Terracotta) They could visit one of the tribal markets and
watch a cockfight there. Boarding and lodging at Jagdalpur will be arranged at Bastar Jungle Resort.

Day 5: In & around Bastar (150Kms, 05hrs day excursion)
Our Guests would start exploring this tribal land by visiting the famous Bison-Horn Maria
tribe known for their weaving, dance and hospitality. Later they could visit the rich forest
of Kanger Valley National Park and its attractions (which include the Kailash caves or the
gushing cataracts of Tirathgarh).
On their way back one could catch a glimpse of a weekly haat (depending on the time).

Day 6: On to Rayagada (250Kms 05hrs drive)
The Guests will leave for Rayagada (Odisha). This drive will be along the Eastern Ghats,
which have some lovely landscape. On arrival they will be checked into a deluxe hotel
( must be Tuesday in order to visit the Dongaria Kond tribal market next day).

Day 7: On to Jeypore (150Kms, 06hrs day excursion)
Early morning, a drive of about an hour and a half would take them to village called Chhattikona.
Here is one of India's most remote and un-spoilt markets of the Dongaria Kond tribe,
who sport one of the most distinct hair dresses and jewellery.
The Guests will return to the hotel for lunch and leave for Jeypore thereafter.

Day 8: Visit Bonda – Gopalpur (350 Kms 08hrs drive including visit)
The Guests will continue to drive along the ghats as they will visit the Bonda tribe & their
colourful markets of the primitive Gadaba also.
Will have picnic Lunch enroute to Gopalpur.

Day 9:Gopalpur -Puri: 200 Kms, 04 Hrs drive
After breakfast proceed to Puri enroute visit Chilika and near by fishermen villages.
Overnight at Puri.

Day 10: Puri-Konark-Nayakpatana craft village-Bhubaneswar
Morning visit Sun Temple Konark and back to the Craft village have lunch and traditional dance.
Later drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visit Dhauli-Buddhist Stupa. Overnight.

Day 11: Day exc. to weaving and dokra village. 125 kms one way
Excursion to visit Nuapatna weaving village and Sadeiberuni Dokra casting village. Overnight.

Day 12:
Morning visit all temples and Caves later transfer to the Airport for onward journey.
Today bid farewell to your "The Best of Chhattishgarh & Orissa" tour! After breakfast morning
transfer from hotel to airport for onwards journey.
