1 Day 1:

On arrival in Sydney, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Spend three nights in Sydney.

2 Day 2:

Today enjoy sightseeing in Sydney. Cross over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and see Sydney’s northern beaches, then visit popular Manly Beach. Return to the city for a buffet luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour. This afternoon, tour Sydney and see the Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and Bondi Beach.

3 Day 3:

Travel to the Blue Mountains and marvel at the spectacular formations including the Three Sisters. Visit Scenic World and ride the world’s steepest railway (extra cost). Stop in Leura, with its charming antique shops, then visit Featherdale Wildlife Park.

4 Day 4:

Fly from Sydney to Melbourne. Transfer to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure and a three night stay.

5 Day 5:

Enjoy a morning tour of Melbourne then depart for Phillip Island, stopping at a cattle farm en route. Visit the Koala Conservation Centre and watch the famous Penguin Parade.

6 Day 6:

Scenic delights await today as you travel along the famous Great Ocean Road to Port Campbell National Park. See coastal villages and view the Twelve Apostles.

7 Day 7:

Transfer to Melbourne airport for your flight to Adelaide. On arrival in Adelaide, transfer to your hotel for time to relax.

8 Day 8:

Embark on a scenic drive to board the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Walk among a colony of Australian sea lions at the Seal Bay Conservation Park. Overnight Kangaroo Island.

9 Day 9:

Tour the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch and see fur seals within Flinders Chase National Park. This afternoon return to Adelaide.

10 Day 10:

Early morning flight to Alice Springs for a two night stay. This afternoon enjoy a tour of this Outback town. See the historic Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service and Alice Springs Reptile Centre.

11 Day 11:

Follow the West MacDonnell Ranges to Simpson’s Gap. Continue to Glen Helen Gorge for a swim and take in the views at Mt. Sonder Lookout. Watch a birds of prey presentation at Alice Springs Desert Park.

12 Day 12:

Depart early for Ayers Rock Resort, stopping at a camel farm where you can take an optional ride. Enjoy a glass of wine this evening while watching sunset over Uluru from the ‘sunset strip’ viewing area. Later, enjoy an Australian barbecue dinner. Stay two nights.

13 Day 13:

Rise early to watch a magical sunrise at Uluru. Tour the caves at the base of Uluru and visit the Uluru–Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Travel to Kata Tjuta for a two-to-three-hour walk through the domes to the Valley of the Winds lookout. Watch the sun set with a glass of wine.

14 Day 14:

Morning at leisure before your flight to Cairns for a three night stay.

15 Day 15:

Cruise on a high-speed catamaran to the Great Barrier Reef. View the coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and semi-submersible vessel. Snorkelling gear is included (extra cost for diving). Enjoy a reef education presentation followed by a buffet lunch.

16 Day 16:

Visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. Travel on the Skyrail Cableway high above the canopy of the rainforest to the picturesque village of Kuranda. Board the Kuranda train for a rail journey over the Barron Gorge.

17 Day 17:

Transfer to Cairns airport for your return flight.
